We live in a fortunate time as composers, to be able to compose anything we want, in any style we choose, and for every available ensemble, group or individual. I want to be able to make the most of this time -- to compose for any opportunity that comes my way. Happily, music can be many things: love, prayer, laughter, meditation, satire, entertainment, competition, or therapy, or worship. Opportunities such as these are the best a composer can ask for.
