Rick Robinson Residency at Hot Springs Music Festival

Bassist/arranger/composer brings his 22 years of experience in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to fruition during this weeklong residency at the Hot Springs Music Festival. With his numerous transcriptions of symphonic rep for mixed octet, his own delightful compositions for string sextet and yet more for string quartet, Robinson finds valuable opportunities to make classical music matter... often in bars, coffeehouses and other non-traditional venues. His appearance will culminate in a large concert of his works June 9.
