Scarsdale Middle School Band to Premiere New Work by Kevin Puts, Winner of 2012 Pulitzer Prize in Music

The day after learning he was the winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize in Music, composer Kevin Puts spent the morning listening to rehearsal of his latest work – a new piece for middle school band called Charm.
Charm will premiere on May 9, 2012 at the spring concert of the Scarsdale Middle School 8th grade band in Scarsdale, NY, under the direction of Nicholas Lieto. The free performance will be at the school, 134 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale, at 7:30 p.m.
