Glickman's music has often been described as "fresh", "haunting", "protean" and "beautiful". He has been featured on as well as several California Summer Music concerts in venues such as Weill Hall - Green Music Center.


Dmitri Glickman’s music regularly inspires reviews from listeners like “fresh”, “haunting” “protean” and “beautiful”. His influences come from many places, from Stevie Wonder and Gyorgy Ligeti to Joni Mitchell and Shostakovich. He attended Bennington College where he studied with Allen Shawn, Nick Brooke, and Kitty Brazelton. A Palmer Fund for Music scholar and recipient of two Woolley Fund grants, he has had solo, chamber, and orchestral premieres across the country. He has spent four summers at California Summer Music studying with David Tcimpidis where his music has been showcased in master classes led by Aaron Jay Kernis, John Corigliano, Louis Karchin and Judith Shatin. Dmitri has interned with organizations like Argento New Music Project and Music at the Anthology (MATA), and worked for Brooklyn fixtures such as Missy Mazzoli and Chris McIntyre. In addition to writing and performing concert music, Dmitri teaches acoustic and electric bass, guitar, drums and ukulele with his brother, Alexi Glickman.
