Composer, arranger, parodist.  Secular and religious music, many combinations of instruments and voices.  Some works utilize traditional harmonic structure, but many are written employing a modified 12-tone system.


Born 6/20/44 in Webster, SD.  Graduate of Grinnell College, Grinnell, IA, with a BA in music, minor in chemistry.  Semi-retired neurologist based in Fargo, ND.  Classical and popular music background.  Singer and bassist for several rock bands, currently Auratone (see Facebook page).  Played stand-up bass for the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra and bass for the Fargo Theatre Big Band All-Stars.  Full orchestral work "52:Overture To The Hostages:52" was premiered by the F-M Symphony Orchestra in 1981.  Available for commissions in a broad range of musical styles, instrumentation, voices.
