Call for Submissions: inner sOUndscapes|Trombone Fall 2024

inner sOUndscapes is a concert series dedicated to electroacoustic music, organized by the computer music studio of the University of Oklahoma, School of Music. For its Fall 2024 edition, inner sOUndscapes is teaming with the trombone studio of Mr. Will Lang to produce a concert featuring recent works for trombone and electronics. We accept anonymous submissions for solo works for any member of the trombone family (alto, tenor, bass), accompanied by live electronics, fixed media, or video. We are also open to trombone duos, trios, up to quartets with electronics. New works that have not been premiered are particularly welcomed! The selected works will be performed by undergraduate and graduate students during the inner sOUndscapes concert at the University of Oklahoma, School of Music on mid-November 2024. Accepted composers are not required to travel to Oklahoma to attend their performance, but are welcome to attend. Funds are not currently available to support travel.
