- Two scores and recordings of the two works, one that has been completed within the last five years and at least one demonstrating string instrument writing.
- Online application form, résumé of compositional activities, and a nonrefundable application fee of $30 (U.S. dollars). Application fees must be submitted by credit card online.
The competition is anonymous. Please note that no identifying words, marks, voices, or other indications breaking the anonymity are allowed on scores or sound files. The presence of any identifying features will disqualify the candidate. The winner of the LSQ Commission Prize will be announced by January 31, 2021. The prize jury will include distinguished composers and the members of the Lydian String Quartet. The decision of the judges is final.
