Nief-Norf invites submissions to the following categories: 1) Multimedia Works and 2) Faculty Instrumentation. One score from each category will be selected, rehearsed throughout the Summer Festival, and performed by performance fellows and festival faculty as part of a showcase at our SYNNERGY gathering. Composers of the selected works will be invited to the 2026 Nief-Norf Summer Festival (NNSF) (June 14–28, 2026) in the days leading up to the performance to coach and collaborate with performers in preparation for the Call for Scores Showcase Concert. Winner receives a $750 travel stipend OR $750 tuition scholarship to NNSF2026. If unable to attend, winner receives $500 award. Application fee is at a sliding scale of $5 to $15.

Submission Details

Nief-Norf invites composers to submit works in two categories.

Category 2: FACULTY INSTRUMENTATION
