Ucross invites composers, as well as artists across disciplines, to apply for the Fall 2026 artist residency session. Our program offers both emerging and established artists the opportunity to focus deeply on their work in the inspiring setting of our 20,000-acre ranch in the Wyoming High Plains. Artists-in-residence receive a private studio, comfortable living accommodations, chef-prepared meals, a stipend, and full staff support—an ideal environment for artistic exploration. We also offer dedicated fellowships to Native American visual artists and writers. Residents receive a $1,500 stipend plus housing and food.
