ACF “Composing Inclusion” premieres with NY Philharmonic and The Juilliard School Preparatory Division

April 20 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

American Composers Forum (ACF), in partnership with The Juilliard School’s Preparatory Division and the New York Philharmonic, is returning for another “Composing Inclusion” concert, a co-commission that brings together multiple generations, musical levels, perspectives, and community members in the creation and performance of new music. Featuring students from the Juilliard Preparatory Division, this concert will celebrate the creativity of young musicians with newly commissioned works for professional and youth orchestras. This program is powered by a grant from the Sphinx Venture Fund.

Arrive early for YPC Overtures, on the Leon and Norma Hess Grand Promenade and Hearst Tier 1, where children can try out orchestral instruments and families can engage in crafting and interactive workshops. Activities begin at 1:00 PM.
