Presented by Lincoln Center, The Dream Unfinished will premiere a video performance of Stay On It by Julius Eastman (1940-1990), a composer whose music explored his identities as a gay man and as a Black-American. Stay On Itis dedicated to blue-collar essential workers such as grocery employees, public transit operators, custodians, and other professions overwhelmingly occupied by people of color. This is the first classical music tribute to essential workers of color in the United States.
