Gabriela Lena Frank has won the 2020 Heinz Award for the Arts and Humanities. Among notable Heinz Award recipients (in multiple categories) over the past 25 years, the other composers have been John Luther Adams, Mason Bates, and John Harbison.

Gaby will be leading a discussion/performance session called Breaking Barriers in Classical Music this coming Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 2pm CST / 3PM ET, which is free and open to the public.
