Meg Huskin is a composer, vocalist, and opera artist currently based in Baltimore, MD. She creates work that embraces theatricality, storytelling, and genre-blending. She often recontextualizes traditional forms and tropes, re-stylizing them in her characteristic musical & literary language.
Meg derives inspiration from community-building, and she aims to amplify artists’ voices through social media and platforming initiatives. She has worked with numerous nonprofit and DIY artistic initiatives—including TellTale Opera Theatre, Arts for Learning Maryland, and Lynx Project—as well as institutions like Peabody Institute, Broadway Across America, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to being a performing musician, Meg is also an avid reader, and a lifelong Jane Austen fan!
