Fields of Wonder

“Fields of Wonder” features a newly rediscovered song cycle by Margaret Bonds set to the poetry of Langston Hughes. Cantus will perform the concert without an audience at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and it will be available online on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 7:40pm to Saturday, April 11, 2021 at 7:30pm.
In addition to the “Fields of Wonder” song cycle, the concert will include “Let The Words” by Take 6, “When We Sing” by Rosephanye Powell (a CQ composer), “I Would Live In Your Love” by Christopher H. Harris, “Tango With God” by Ysaye M. Barnwell and others.
