Kaufman Music Center – Piano Dialogues: Anthony de Mare – LIAISONS
November 18, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm CST
Conceived by acclaimed concert pianist Anthony de Mare, LIAISONS is a landmark commissioning and concert project that brings together today’s leading classical, jazz, theater, film and indie composers to re-imagine Stephen Sondheim’s songs as solo piano pieces. This remarkable compendium of new music breaks open the boundaries between musical theater and concert music while making the case for Sondheim as one of today’s most influential composers.
