About the Presenter: Dawn is a Senior Counsel and Mediator at Mendoza Law, LLC. Dawn’s extensive background in conflict resolution provides clients valuable skills and perspectives that help resolve their problems. Dawn’s skills are available to assist a variety of clients and matters, including business disputes, employment conflicts, housing disputes, large and small scale community conflict, organizational conflict, litigation, and non-profit organizations.
As a mediator, Dawn has over ten years of experience, including mediation, conflict coaching, conducting conflict assessments, designing dispute resolution processes for multi-party disputes, and facilitating community comment processes. As an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, Dawn managed and taught the Community Mediation Clinic. She also taught the 30-Hour Civil Facilitative Hybrid Mediation Training Course for the Conflict Resolution Center, and she designs and teaches advanced mediation training classes for practitioners to enhance their mediation skills. She is a Rule 114 Qualified Civil and Family Mediator and holds a Certificate from the Harvard Program on Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Management Executive Education Course. She also trained with the Minnesota Office of Collaboration and Dispute Resolution (OCDR) in Constructive Problem Solving.
