Hosted by Springboard for the Arts

The CARES Act expands eligibility for unemployment compensation to self-employed individuals, independent contractors, “gig economy” employees, and individuals who were unable to start a new job or contract due to the pandemic. In this webinar, we’ll take an overview of the process for artists and creatives applying for the first time, and answer any questions you may have. This webinar is an overview of the process to apply for Minnesota Unemployment Insurance, but will be helpful to artists across the country, since there are some process consistencies from state to state. Presented by Iverson-Felsheim Law.
