The Akron Symphony Orchestra presents its Outside Voices Concert Series at Hale Farm & Village on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 6:30 PM CT | 7:30 PM ET
The free concert will feature the Akron Symphony Strings performing works by Clarice Assad (a McKnight Visiting Composer), Julia Perry, Antonín Dvořák and Quinn Mason (a NextNotes creator).
The Outside Voices Concert Series focuses on the music of under-represented composers who are “outside” of the standard repertoire, along with numerous audience favorites. The series presents an opportunity for the ASO to expand its musical offerings and share a diversity of composers with the Northeast Ohio community.
