The festival takes place March 14-16, 2025, at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, in and around the breathtaking Ent Center for the Arts.
This year’s Call is open to creators of electronic music living in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico.
There are no restrictions on age, gender, race, ethnicity or institutional affiliation.
Submission Guidelines:
Please submit a fixed-media work for 2 or 4 channels (submit 4-channel works as a stereo mixdown for submission purposes please) in WAV format, with or without video; Reaper or Ableton Live will be used for playback, and our large projector will be used for those works with video.
Duration: 13′ max. Preference will be given to works less than 10′ in duration.
Composers are invited to submit up to two (2) works, using a separate Google Form for each submission.
Please do not submit more than one piece in a single form.
If proposing a 4-channel work, please submit a stereo mix for consideration purposes. We will ask for performance files for selected 4-channel works.
Deadline: Sunday, February 9, 2025, 11:59PM MST.
Festival Profile: ELECTROWAVE is three days (March 14-16, 2025, Friday to Sunday) of concerts, presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and conversations. Our goal is to share and enjoy electronic music in all its various forms as well as expand the ever growing electronic music community in Colorado Springs, CO. ELECTROWAVE’s concert events feature electronic music of various genres from experimental to techno and everything in between and beyond.
