ELECTROWAVE, the Rocky Mountain Electroacoustic Music Festival hosted at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), seeks original electroacoustic works from composers living in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming or Utah for a “FRONT RANGE WAVES” Special Feature Concert during the 2026 ELECTROWAVE Festival, taking place March 6-8 at the Ent Center for the Arts on the UCCS campus.

ELECTROWAVE is three days (March 6-8, 2026, Friday to Sunday) of concerts, presentations, workshops, demonstrations, Synth Petting Zoos and conversations. Our goal is to share and enjoy electronic music in all its various forms as well as expand the ever growing electronic music community in Colorado Springs, CO. ELECTROWAVE’s concert events feature electronic music of various genres from experimental to techno and everything in between and beyond.

Eligibility
This year’s Call is open to creators of electronic music currently living in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico.
There are no restrictions on age, gender, race, ethnicity or institutional affiliation.

Submission Guidelines

 

  • Submit up to two fixed-media work for 2 or 4 channels (submit 4-channel works as a stereo mixdown for submission purposes please) in WAV format, with or without video; Reaper or Ableton Live will be used for playback, and our large projector will be used for those works with video.
  • Duration: 13′ max. Preference will be given to works less than 10′ in duration.
  • Composers are invited to submit up to two (2) works, using a separate Google Form for each submission.
  • Please do not submit more than one piece in a single form.
  • If proposing a 4-channel work, please submit a stereo mix for consideration purposes. We will ask for performance files for selected 4-channel works.
